Maggie and Bill had a dream day for their wedding. Surrounded by they family and friends, Bill and Maggie said their “I do’s” overlooking the Sassafras River in Kent County Maryland. Their day was filled with boho chic decor, leafy greens, and plenty of love!
I loved so much about shooting their wedding. In everything these two did for their wedding day it showed how much they cared about each other, their families, and their friends. This was not just a day to celebrate the Stafford merger, but it was a celebration for their entire family and community.
The day started with the ladies and the gentleman getting ready and enjoying a few cocktails. Bill and Maggie had a private meeting on the dock for their first look. It was such an intimate and beautiful moment to capture. You can see all the love in Bill’s eyes as Maggie emerged into view. An amazingly touching moment.
The ceremony was held in the neighborhood where Maggie’s parents live. The ceremony took place on a cliff overlooking the river and close to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Succulents and greenery lined the aisle and in the bouquets. So many beautiful details.
And of course the bridal party… so beautiful! I loved the color of their dresses and how it seamless tied into all the greenery of the florals. Maggie’s attention to detail made the day so special and lovely.
Billy, Maggie, and the wedding party were brought to the reception by boat and the night ended with a amazing reception. Dell Fox Band rocked the tent while the sunset took your breath away. The perfect end to a perfect day.
